"For me, the highlight of the Revolutions in Biomedicine Mini Research Project was the plethora of learning opportunities that were provided for us during the two weeks. From the beginning of the day to the end, the learning never stopped. Whether that was via talking to Imperial masters students, listening to renowned guest lecturers, gaining practical skills in the lab, strengthening team working skills in our lab groups or just by talking to peers from various parts of the world.

The leaders of the programme played a huge role in my experience. They were there to push us and expose us to new ideas, but also ready to step in when anyone needed help. Any anxieties I had about the research project were quelled due to the friendly lab aids, teachers and other students who were all very patient and helpful.

I found the whole experience helped me to realise how much the field of Biomedicine has to offer. After my two weeks there, I left Imperial feeling inspired, empowered and excited about my future, and with lots of new friends and amazing memories to go along with it."
